I was listening to Sirius radio and they were interviewing Darius Butler and Butler said the Dolphins were the team that showed the most interest in him. His draft stock has risen after a decent 40 time of 4.45 but whats really impressive was his 43 inch vertical. He did really well in the cornerback drills and looks like he could be our first round pick. I like him alot.
 
Vonte Davis is going to be a bust... just like his brother
 
Darius Butler I believe is going to be the pick at #25 after seeing how FA has unfolded. I only hope he doesn't get drafted earlier. But if he does, then we go with Alphonso Smith. I like both players a lot.
 
not sure if he goes first round to be honest. mid 30's maybe but 1st? not sure about that.
 
5'10, 43 inch vertical, 4.45 40 but was expected to run in the 4.3's (everyone ran slow 40's. Not a bad pick but there will be talented CB's in the 2nd as well.
 
This guy is a future cover guy and shut down CB. I saw him play at UCONN.
BTW, now that everyone has seen how much Animal sucks, Vonte Davis is the mst overrated player in the nation. i hope we dont touch him.

whats the diff btw a cover guy and a shut down guy? we all know waht shut down means but u mean cover as in cover 2 guy?

what are his strenghts i havent seen him play .
 
I wouldn't mind him and it would make the most sense to draft a corner after we added no one so far in free agency and lost Goodman.. I'd also like Larry English or one of the USC linebackers but Butler wouldn't be a bad pick and he also trains with Deion Sanders at "Prime U" which isn't a bad thing to be trained and teached by one of the best who played cornerback..

Cover as in one of those guys who can cancel out a WR and consistanly win battles. At UCONN the S help was nonexistant and he still was a dominant presence.
Stenghts-Quick, Smart, Fast, Changes dirrection well, great ball skills
Weaknesses-short, willingness in run support was a question.

He returned punts, kickoffs and was one of our leading WR's at UCONN.
 
Butler will be a shut down and may even be able to cover Wes Welker on his short routes that nobody seems to be able cover.

However, he is projected 2nd round and the Patriots have multiple picks in the 2nd round including KC's #35.

Pats need CB as well and if he goes in the 1st, NE picks in front of us.
