Brian Biggane, of the Palm Beach Post, reports the Miami Dolphins may be interested in Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent CB Phillip Buchanon.

If he is available for the right price, he would be a great addition. Living in the TB area, I know a bit about the Bucs and Buchanon is a good CB. However, he may be asking for more than we are willing/able to give him.

I seriously doubt it. We don't run a Tampa 2. As a Cane-Alumn I love PB, but he's bit fit for a Cover 2 scheme...

I like Phil, I just don't see it though. He's a little older and despite being a hometown guy from the U, I just don't see the FO bringing him in. I like these reports of this and that team are interested in this/that guy, but nothing to back it up. They find some type of tie to the team and automatically assume they are looking/interested in him. We'll start finding out in the next few days who we really are interested in.

Wasnt he a total bust in a man-to-man scheme in Houston? He found a home in Tampa. IMO he sticks with a Tampa-2 team.

I like Bodden, Bartell or McFadden for the Fins.
