I just bought the season preview magazine from Pro Football Weekly, and I have sort of made this an anual thing. This magazine is PACKED with great stuff and while I may disagree with some of their rankings, it's a must have for any football fan. It's a complete guide to the upcoming season.

Any way, the point of this thread is to show you guys where our guys stack up against the rest of the NFL at their positions. So, enough of my blabbering, here they are.

Offense

QB- Daunte Culpepper (Not rated due to injury)
RB- 8. Ronnie Brown (They expect him to be huge with a bigger work load)
TE- David Martin (Not even on the list)
WR- 17. Chris Chambers (Notably ahead of both Moss and Stallworth)
C- No Dolphin mentioned wether it be Hadnot or Satele
OG- No Dolphin mentioned
OT- No Dolphin mention (Where the hell is Carey?)

Wow, they really dislike our offense. Not even a lineman mentioned on the list and our only 2 players rated were Chambers and Brown. I feel Hadnot, Carey and Martin at least deserve a mention. Maybe that's why they have us in the cellur at 5-11.

Defense

DT- 21. Vonnie Holliday (but no mention of Keith Traylor)
DE- 2. Jason Taylor (this is where I have a huge prolem, c'mon, Peppers?)
ILB- 4. Zach Thomas (behind Al Wilson and Jonathan Vilma, joke)
OLB- 13. Joey Porter (no mention of Channing Crowder)
CB- No player mentioned
S- 15. Yerimiah Bell (they really love Bell from what I'm reading)
Also at safety, as a top vetern prospect they have Jason Allen, doesn't make much sense to me.

And that's all, not a whole lot of love; not even for Taylor and Thomas. They pick us at 5-11 and hopefully some of the Dolphin players take offense to this slap in the face.

That is a pretty big slap in the face. Quite frankly, I relish and enjoy being the underdog - its easier to perform well when there arent "super bowl" expectations tagged on a team from the get go. They were smart to think that Ronnie Brown will be huge because he no doubt will be.

Click the link below to find out why Ronnie Brown will have a Pro Bowl caliber season.

Zach Thomas is behind Al Wilson??????? He is fighting for his starting job in denver, and looks to be second in that battle. I just dont know what the hell people are thinking.

Jason Taylor, Defensive MVP, and still cant be #1 in his respective position battle.???? haha

Well it isn't like our offense has done much of anything the last few years. The offensive line specifically has been horrible to below average as of late. Need to prove otherwise.

thanks for the info. I too disagree with Zach and JT. But on the other side of the ball, you really cant blame anyone for rating the fins very low. Hopefully with an O minded HC, we'll see a huge increase in production.

It is really absurd to have Wilson ahead of Zach and JT not #1 in any position rankings of DEs is ridiculous. But, we don't need polls or rankings by PFW or any other media outlet for us to know whether or not that JT is a more complete DE than a Peppers or anyone else right now in the league.

who cares what anyone says, remember last year the fins where suppose to go the super bowl and look what happened... any given sunday man who knows maybe we'll be the next Rams... from last to super bowl champs this year, nobody knows...

Peppers #1? Thats the biggest joke ive heard today.
How does a pro bowl starter in Thomas get chosen behind a pro bowl alternate in Wilson and Vilma? Vilma, you have to be joking. He is ust a TOUCH better than an average linebacker at best...Was he even selected to the pro bowl last year..didnt think so..

Everything I have heard about this magazine this offseasn has been absurd. I dont know what happened because I used to enjoy reading it. They must have gotten some new writers or something because there information on not only the fins but all the teams has been way off this year

Ew. That's a disgrace. Jon Vilma? Did he do anything this past season? Matter of fact what has he done this past decade or so? Better than Zach? Don't think so.

Way to shun the DMVP. Jackasses.

Yeah, I remember watching an interview with Marty Shottenheimer right after we hired Cam. When a commentator brought up our 28th ranked defense, Marty sternly guarenteed that with Cam running the show here, that we won't be the 28th ranked scoring offense for very long. :D

Haven't we all really disliked our offense in recent years?
I don't see any reason anyone would talk our offense up until they show some reason to have faith in them as a unit.

We have a HUGE question mark at the most important position on the field, yet again, at QB.

OL is full of a bunch of unknowns basically.
Carey had a solid year last year but he's yet to show he's a top T although that could come this year.
We have no proven C as Satele is a rookie yet to play a down.
Hadnot is an unknown and rightfully so. His play at C was avg.
Shelton at the other T? No respect deserved there.
Our other G spot is a toss up.

Nothing there for anyone outside of S. FL. to have any faith in there.

you are suprised that MArtin is not ranked . Thats what happens when you have done nothing in your career.

What is Randy McMichael ranked? Is Trent Green ranked?
