Just heard on 790 the Ticket that he was resigned. What an awesome move. A much better one than people would give any credence to but I think this is awesome because our LT problems are defenitely over for a while. I think we also have both our tackles and maybe Carey will move back inside more. I think we are trading down and getting an interior linemen.

Max Jean Gilles and Nick Mangold are my guys. Nick Saban rules.


Of course, the last time 790 said we are taking Maddox, it never happened.:rolleyes:
 
Really? Wow, I didnt see that one coming at all. It makes sense though, because we dont have many experienced tackles on the roster. Could this mean that Carey will move back inside?
 
yeah.. i just turned on 790 the ticket and hes back..thats great resigning him.. that means carey might move back to guard..a position i think hes better at.. great job ST. Nick!:D
 
Well he was solid last year, with Houck here he should continue to do well.

Yes it is. There is resign which means retire, and there is re-sign which means re-acquired, or signed him to another contract. And the English lesson is over. :D
 
Im speculating a bit, but this could also be a sign we're OUT of the Lavar Arrington race. By focusing on the OL in Free Agency, rather than in the draft (when guys like Justice or Mcneil would have made a ton of sense in round one), it may mean that Saban is now focusing on other areas of need (like LB). I hope not, but the truth is it wouldnt surprise me one bit.
 
Glad to have him back, Houck will continue his improved play. Solidifies the OL. Welcome home Damion!
