You're right, a lot of us here did complain about his workout......most everyone in the NFL did. But he was also being looked at as high as a 2nd round pick by some accounts and a virtual lock to be taken in the 3rd.

But he was taken in the 5th round......what 5th round player DOESN'T have some kind of questions associated with him?????

Thats obvious. I don't think anyone really thinks that. But what about the 5th? Not only did the Dolphins get him in the fifth round, but they also acquired him with the lower of their two fifth-round choices in 2006. Since when?
 
Ok, now i am confused. When did we pick up an extra 1st and 5th rounder?

I didn't say anything negative, many finfans did.

Wright for a fifth is a great move by Sabanco, your Dl isn't great and is old.

I wouldn't expect him to make an impact next season however.
 
all I said was that I didn't want Wright in the 3rd anymore because of his bad workout but I still said I wanted him in the 4th and I made the change because his value had clearly dropped after the workout

And the lower 5th rounder of the two we had. Wow. That's impressive. So we still have a 5th rounder next year.

we now have some nice youth with Roth, Vickerson and Wright

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Dirtywater is the classiest non-Fins fan on this site.

BTW, the 5th rounder we used was the lower of the two we had. So we still have a 5th next year, and it will be a fairly high one.
