There is no way that he will be going on the PS. If we do something like that, then a team could pick him up and that means that we just wasted a 5th rounder for nothing. He will make the team, but i doubt he will play.
 
John Gamble has his work cut-out for him :D
 
If it's true, it could be a good value pick. If he was thought of a 3rd rounder before his disappointing workouts, a 5th is nice.

I'm guessing he's a long-er term prospect, someone that needs to be coached up abit. I'm willing to wait and be patient for him.

We are thin there, think that he will make the team. I don't think that we would have chosen him if Saban Didn't think this also..............

Other teams can pick up players off a practice squad? I thought they had to be released first.
 
No word yet from NFL.com, ESPN, or the official Dolphin site. For those of you in Miami, are the sports radio shows reporting this yet?
 
good solid pick for a 5th rounder. His a big body and young.

Plus he fits our scheme well, and has just the right # of misdemeanors to not make anyone else feel out of place...
 
You can never have enough big bodies on the Dline. We needed some depth, and if he can do that, a #5 in the supplemental drft is worth it.

Nope. When you are on the PS that pretty much means that you are a FA.
 
Im happy with the 5th. Hes supposed to have alot of upside. Get him some serious conditioning in the gym and with his natural football skills and good coaching we might have a genuine starter next season. Good stuff.
 
hmmm... i need confirmation.. if it's 10 mins a round and the 2nd ended at 1.52, how are they reporting that we got him in the fifth 4 mins later.

They may have heard that we are willing to use a fifth, although it does read like we got Manny.
