26 rookies on the roster. That may be the most rookies on the team at one time that I can remember. If you think there were more at another time please say so. I am excited about that many young players on the roster, which brings the total roster about about the mid 80s (maybe 86 or 87).

The new youth on the offensive line and defensive line is of particular interest to me.

People can question the individual personnel moves but there's no doubt that the roster is getting younger. We haven't seen that in many years.

I'm excited about Lofton. You gotta love that lineage. He obviously possesses all the measurables you look for. It will be interesting to see if he makes the 53-man roster or the practice squad.

That's the biggie right there. I'm looking forward to it also, but too often fans think becoming younger automatically makes your team better. Only if those young guys can play.
