The Miami Dolphins today signed seven players who finished the 2005 regular season on the team's practice squad, plus QB Brock Berlin (pictured) who went to training camp with the Dolphins as an undrafted college free agent in 2005.

Well its a smart move to send Berlin to Europe at least. Sending third/fourth string QBs to play there makes a lot of sense and is something we havent done since we sent over Damon Huard when Marino was still playing.

Definitely not. And look for a Saban to bring in another veteran to compete with Gus as well. The competition will be good because even if Frerrotte ends up winning the job (highly unlikely), he will be forced to elevate his game. I think his leash will much shorter in the coming season.

I think though that if Berlin doesnt show some real promise in Europe, he probably wont even make it to the start of training camp.
