Berlin to Europe for fin..1 of 3..

Miami signed it's practice squad and added Berlin "one more chance" to the roster for 06..

Link.

Brock would be a good back up and I want to see how those other guys develop.

Well its a smart move to send Berlin to Europe at least. Sending third/fourth string QBs to play there makes a lot of sense and is something we havent done since we sent over Damon Huard when Marino was still playing.

With this signing, we have the potential of having 5 quarterbacks fighting for three spots (Frerotte, Rosenfels, Lemon, Berlin, and draft pick).

Rosenfels will not be here.

(Frerotte, Rosenfels, Lemon, Berlin, and draft pick) These five dont make sence i say get rid of Gus keep sage sign a vet other than gus and let the rest fight for third place

We should send Gus to NFL Europe, maybe he can improve his accuracy.

Definitely not. And look for a Saban to bring in another veteran to compete with Gus as well. The competition will be good because even if Frerrotte ends up winning the job (highly unlikely), he will be forced to elevate his game. I think his leash will much shorter in the coming season.

I think though that if Berlin doesnt show some real promise in Europe, he probably wont even make it to the start of training camp.
