Really fantastic post. It's posters like you who demonstrate such uncanny insight who make this place really worth coming to. Some people just say things to hear themselves talk, so to speak. Not you. I shudder to think of what this place would be like if we didn't have beacons of enlightenment like you around.

Couldn't agree more. I think he's done as well. If there was any realistic chance he had a few healthy years left, Indy would keep him.

And the ONLY way I won't BARF in my mouth if they do.... is if they also get Flynn too. Yep, I said it. I do NOT want the Dolphins paying for Manning's retirement.

After his 3rd surgery, even Manning doesn't know how healthy he is. And his team just demolitioned it's FO and is publicly moving on to the Luck era. If there were ever a big flashing neon sign saying "don't touch this player"... this is it.

The only thing left I need to hear is our medical staff giving him a clean bill of health. PRICELESS!

Manning is done. He's a 1 or 2 year stop gap for a drafted QB. We need a Franchise QB that has his whole career in front of him, not behind him.

I don't think it's a bld statement at all.. Why play the game unless your goal is championships.

I do wish he'd make comments like this sooner. Perhaps the fan base wouldn't blast him so much.

Anyway.. At least the three phases of operation are on the same page for once.
