http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/articles/2007/07/dolphins-widereceivers-couldrebound230707.html Last year, formerly unheralded wide receiver Wes Welker led the Miami Dolphins with 67 receptions. Welker is now a member of the New England Patriots after an offseason trade. Fellow wideout Marty Booker led the Dolphins in both receiving yardage (747) and touchdowns (six) a season ago.

Therefore, the Dolphins' best two receivers last year combined weren't what most teams get statistically from their finest WR

While there is less experience at the receiver position than there was last season, there is more talent. For that talent to enjoy a better season, three things must take place: 1.) Chambers must play considerably better than he did a year ago; 2.) Booker must at least match last year's output; and 3.) Either Hagan, Ginn or Sutton must step up and provide some kind of spark for the offense.

A decent read, just because Chambers got wasted doesn't mean he's not dedicated.
By that logic anyone who's ever gotten drunk is scumbag who won't go far in life.

I know really, im sure everyone gets drunk at some point in there lives.

Sure they do. They just don't all stupidly decide to get behind the wheel afterwards.

Lemme tell u something, I would be shocked to see if anybody has never had a drink or 2, and then drove home . . . espcially in South Florida, where u almost certainly need a car to get around in. Hell u may not even feel the effects of the alcohol, but u could be over the legal limit. If he blew a .06, he wasn't close to drunk.

ok back on topic lol.......... Booker should be happy to have another year like last year IMO........ he was Joey's favorite target for sure... while CC ran all the deep routes. We lost our 3rd down possession guy... so somebody like Hagan hasta step up in that regard. Without knowing what exactly to expect from the offense this year... i'd say chambers improves from last year but doesnt reach 1000 yards... he's still a huge red-zone threat tho Aso i expect a solid # of TDs from him if we can move the chains consistently. I see a changing of the gaurd(s) at the #2 spot.... Booker should start but we hafta make way for Hagan and Ginn, these two guys are extremely talented and the future of our offense. I really like our talent at WR, i just dont know whether or not they'll get more oppurtunities to shine in 07. They've seriously been held back in this offense. People hate on Chambers for not returning to the pro-bowl while ignoring what a feat it is for a Mia WR to produce like that. Marty was a Pro-Bowler before he came here and hasnt produced half as much. And since when is marty our most reliable reciever ??? one year with better #'s and he's better than Chambers ??? I don't think so.... Marty's had worse drop problems over his career than chris has, and i dont remember marty Winning any games or making any clutch catches either. CC was one of the best with Linehan/Frerrotte... now with Mularkey and Cpep/Joey his skills went down the drain ? not likely.

Edit : to say theres less experience but more talent at WR this year is only half true.... we lost Wes who had no experience at WR prior to 06'.... and replaced him with Ginn who has atleast more experience in college at WR... Hagan gained a years experience also.

Well prepared to be shocked then because I know at least 10 guys who get trashed 2x a month, yet NEVER drive home drunk.
Its part of being a responsible adult. That is why the legal age is 21, because the hope is that by that time you have matured enough to know the dangers and follow rules put into place to protect everyone.

he said 1 or 2 drinks...... not "trashed".... and yes it's perfectly normal to have a couple drinks then drive home...... part of being a responsible adult is knowing when enough is enough, more so than knowing when your too drunk to drive. Driving somewhere and getting too smashed to drive home isnt very responsible.... in most cases. I myself am guilty for "crashing" at a few places. :D However..... you can't stay over nite at the club/bar etc.
