MERGED-Donte Stallworth receives offer from Pats/To visit Dolphins

It's cool, one substance abuse slip-up and he's gone.
 
I was skeptical about signing Stallworth with the reports that he is in the substance abuse program. He is a very good player, but we already have one pot head on this team.
 
could be a boom or bust for them.....his hammy's are super sensitive
 
Actually, it might be a little early. He's received an offer from NE, but it doesn't say he's agreed to it, and PFT is reporting he's going to Tennessee and Miami before he commits to anything.
 
Wow! I bet the rumors are true of Bellichek not getting a contract renewal from Kraft next year. Seems as if Bellichek is trying to make one last run for the Super Bowl and put the team in cap hell in the process.

He gets a SB win, gets a huge contract from whatever team hires him after the 07 season and he destroys the future of the Pats in the process :lol:

if the signing goes hrough, it shows me that hte Pats feel their window of dominance is coing to an end. It is very un pats like for them to spend so much in FA. If these moves don't work, the Pats could be in trouble

granted the article says he was offered a deal, but he'll probably end up signing.
 
i hope this move backfires for the pats i personaly did not want him here
 
much rather them end up with Stallworth than Moss...
