MERGED: Dustin Keller Injury Thread

Lets leave the diagnosis to the pros. Sometimes injuries can look worse than they are. Here's hoping for minimal damage and a speedy recovery. Gotta respect a guy who came here to stick it to the jets.

I don't know why a hit on the knees is legal. Now this will be the story line for the next year until goodell changes that rule as if it wasn't an issue since day one of the nfl.

One of the worst plays is allowing hits to the knee like that. It's not like it's trying to make him flip or something it's to bend a body in ways it shouldn't at full speed from a 200+ lb man.

Yeah, a knee is not supposed to that. Best to just accept he's out for the year. He would've been a key player on offense this year. Now one of these other guys will have to step up, which I'm not terribly optimistic about.

Any free agents?

Re: Dustin Keller Injured

Injuries happen.

Guess we shouldn't practice either cause injuries can happen there, right?

Think before you post.

While I'm not sure as to the exact extent of his injuries, I don't see any way he's not done for the year.

Thought it was a dislocated knee or some sort of break, but they put no soft cast on him, which they immediately do after a break or dislocation.

But it did look very bad.

That was Willis Mcgahee like. Horrible blow for Miami and Keller. He's looked outstanding this year.

It was a cheap shot, no fault on Philbin. He crashed him right on the knee.
