Normally articles like this make me laugh, but this is so atrocious I don't know where to begin, I'll just link it:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=halloffame/nfl1-10

After extensive research, fact-checking, educated guessing and hunch playing, here are 50 active NFL players we predict will someday be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, listed in order of predicted Hall of Fame probability. Perhaps not everyone on this list will appear to be Hall of Fame material at first glance. Some might have to wait a few years to gain entry -- one of this year's inductees, Hickerson, last played in 1973.

It is on "Page 2" but still, I think that's a ploy since it's on the NFL front page and I saw no good attempt at humor. Warning, Merriman, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, AJ Hawk, Calvin Johnson are on the list. Freeney higher than JT. No Zach.

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Ladainian Tomlinson, and possibly Ray Lewis are the only ones i'd say 'deserve it' in our era.

Zach gets the HOF Shaft again

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but i recall a Pete Prisco article from not too long ago about possible HOF candidates from current nfl players. When it came to zach, he said 'no way'. Now espn page 2 has released their list of the top 50 current players who will most likely make the hall. Of course, zach is nowhere to be found. Yet on the list are players like Reggie Bush, Vince young, Leinart and others who yes were good last year, their ROOKIE year, and have no proved much beyond that. Also on the list are Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson, who have yet to play a down in the nfl. I know we as fins fans most likely believe players like zach are god, but to not even consider him as a candidate (even in the 'on the bubble' section) is just sad to me. I know that espn page 2 isn't really a great resource but I just feel bad for Zach because his entire career he has been overlooked and underrated, and he really is a special player that we'd be very sorry to lose or to have never had.

Zach Career Stats: 986 tackles (1577 including assists) 18.5 sacks and 17 INTs, and 46 passes deflected. Yes his sack count may be low but he has consistently led or been close to leading the league in tackles for quite some time.

just saw this got posted while i was doing my stats reseach, merge please mods thanks

wow that is such crap. espn should prove they do their research before releasing an article. i'm not sure how they rate guys even on the list of bubble or missing out when they haven't play a single down in the nfl.

Unreal.

I'm the one who posted the other one. I also was going back and forth between pages and was worried someone would beat me to it as well!

Ok. I love Zach. But why do you all think he deserves the Hall of Fame? He hasn't won a superbowl. He's barely won playoff games. He doesn't make game-changing plays and he's never been named DMVP.

He's been SOLID his entire career. Racking up tackles every step of the way. But he's not a HOF guy. Just a good, hard-nosed MLB. He's not much else though. If Zach is considered HOF material, so is Urlacher, London Fletcher, Teddy Bruschi, and many others.

Shawn Merriman? If this was any other sport he would have been band for an entire season minimum!

How can a proven drugs cheat be honoured? At least JT had the balls to say what he was thinking.

ESPN = Pony

At least all the players 1-38 have done something in the league. After that, its a crap shoot. VInce Young? Leinart? Adrian Peterson?

not to mention 7 pro bowls, and been a respectable leader his entire career. plays the game and the hall should be the one place that recognizes players with success and aren't gang bangers shooting people, beating women, taking roids', gambling, dog fighting. Guys like Zach have been overshadowed by losers in society their whole career, one place they deserve to be recognized above the rest of the idiots who get most of the attention is in Canton.

Its one way the nfl can commend the players who actually give their sport a good name and prove you can be a dominant player while being humble and proud to be part of the NFL.

yeah but when they have guys like AJ Hawk in the list, its pretty messed up

how can u have aj hawk when he couldnt even stay durable last year and not zach...pathetic....where's chris chambers in this convo??? lol....just a joke!

21. Merriman.
34. Reggie Bush.

yeah they've done something in the league. Jamar Fletcher has done something in the league. These guys haven't done enough to warrant mention in a HOF article.

Bruce Smith must be groaning when a guy with 30 sacks are so is mentioned for HOF.

exactly thats over the top. WTF has AJ hawk done...NOTHING. is green bay going to sniff playoffs or super bowls in the next 10? Prob. not. AJ would be lucky to have half the career Zach has had in terms of personal achievements.
