Noteable:
Cleo Lemon signs with Jags for 3 yrs close to 9 mil.
Shaun Rogers traded to Bengals for 3rd rounder and 5th rounder.
Asante Samuel to visit Eagles

All in all above and beyond my expectations and a fantastic day in free agency.

Sean Ryan not Sean Lee

Oh and Samuel signed

and Fergusons picks aren't undisclosed it was two 6th rounders.

No way Parcells drafts a QB #1 in a mediocre class of rookie QB's, especially when he solved his immediate need in McNown as the veteran stop gap.

If any QB is taken, it will be in 2nd at earliest or 3rd with Flacco.
A rookie QB rarely ever starts his first year, or even makes a impact.

Phins now have a projected starter in McNown.

The glaring need on offense is a LT and a RB given Ronnie Brown wont be himself until end of year at best...Ricky Williams needs a running mate.

Parcells likes finding lineman in middle rounds.

This has McFadden written all over it...unless of course someone like Dallas is willing to over pay :)

I dont think it was 2 6th rounders,it was swap 2008 6th round picks with dallas and give dallas our 2009 6th round pick

Dont get me wrong, Ive been wanting McFadden from day 1, I just really doubt Miami is drafting him. I think Jake Long is the pick and we can grab a RB later in the draft. And from all things Ive read, Ronnie is ahead of schedule and will be ready for the start of the season.

First off its McCown! not McNown. I doubt he starts unless Beck really sucks. Vernon Carey is a left tackle I doubt he moves back to right tackle he was good last year.

Can you believe all his contract talk and what he wanted. He ended up signing a 6 year, 57 million contract with 20 mil garuanteed... Although 32 mil is to be paid in the first 3 years, but still, thats not anywhere near how bad I thought it would be

Ugh...Carey is our LT and performed well enough last year. Besides, all the draftniks are ecstatic about the depth of the OL class this year...FA isn't over yet either, it's only been one day...

There are reports on the internet that we are interested in Turner as well. T

Guys, this isn't going to be over in two days like the draft...

TA says phins win

Both Schefter and Soloman said the phins kicked butt. Parcels has rebuilt our defense in one day. I think we still need some DB help though. I like being recognized for Parcels and Irelands hard work.

Go Phins

wow only one day in the FA period and people are already saying we did well... I really like our pickups, it sets us up for a monster draft! And yeah, we didnt pick up any DBs but the draft has lots of great CBs and a few good safetys
