Fat Hank Back? - Mandich quits

No.Mandich was not fired from WQAM but he did quit from Sports Jam for publicly drinking another brand of beer other than the sponsors brand.(Ridiculous)

Fat Hank is like Jason of horror movie fame with his pronouncement "I'M BACK".Get ready for some more long-winded name-dropping monologues.(There is no talk to his talk show)

I like Hank Goldberg .He has some good interviews and has very good contacts.Yes sometimes he cuts callers off but most of the time they deserve it.I also like Mandich.
 
Note: I realize Greg Reed is goddamned insane, but Fat Hank sucks. He has the listeners he does because he is right after the real ratings getters like Neil and Mandich, and is on the way home.
 
I met Mandich back when the Dolpgins came up for a pre-season (I think it was pre) the year the Giants opened up Giants stadium (it was 76 or 77). He was a friend of a freind of my fathers, he got us tickets, got to meet him, try on his super bowl ring! (at that time it fit over three of my fingers), in fact the autograph picture he gave me is still over my computer with him catching a pass against the colts.

I will always remember that moment, I was always a Fin fan as long as I can remember (I'm 41) but that cemented it, he was great!
 
Sports Jam absolutely Sucks now. I used to look forward to the show, no Mandich will make the show go seriously down hill. Hank may not be my favorite person, but he said it how it was on that show too, and he is gone. Yes, the girl they got is hot, but she doesn't know anything about football, at least it doesn't sound it.
 
I heard a little differently about Mandich...That he quit not that he was fired after being confronted about drinking a Heinekin instead of Presidente. FREAKING insane...who the hell do they think they are that they can tell a man what kind of beer to drink? I am a BIG fan of Mandich. Hank, well, he's another story..but I have met him and sat in the same press box as him at one of last year's games...he's freaking hilarious in person...it looked like an episode of the Sopranos in there with all of those mafia looking Jersey dudes coming in and out of there talking to him.
 
wow you scared the bejesus out of me, I thought he was fired from doing his show and play by play at WQAM when i read that

Yes its been rumored its those mob :wharf: gambling connections :m83: that may be responsible for getting Hank his job back (Yet again):judge: and keeping him in the public limelight.
 
it doesnt say Goldberg is back, it says this:

WQAM general manager Greg Reed said he will meet this week with talk show host Hank Goldberg -- their first contact since Goldberg was suspended Aug. 3 for comments about Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria's marital situation. Although Reed declined to say if Goldberg will return, he could be back on the air soon if the meeting goes well. Dolphins announcer Howard David continues to fill in for Goldberg.

OK thanks.I figured it out but there seems to be a delay from they time its edited until its corrected in the thread title.
 
Sometimes I listen to Mr Goldberg on the Internet.He is very rude.I like Mr Mandich.He is funny.
 
Well that sucks.
Nevertheless, if im at home on a monday night i'll still probably watch it.
But if they bring Will Manso back i'm done.
