MERGED: Feeling around the league is, Dolphins will draft Terrell Pryor

I would get him, we have nothing at quarterback, so we need to take risks.

I would try hard to get Pryor and Calen King(RB).

If we are seriously going to draft Pryor tomorrow, someone just do me a favor and kill me as I sleep this evening. Thanks in advance.

this kids not an nfl qb...and for all those who say he's an athlete maybe he can make a position change count out loud how many successful guys who played qb in college to another position in the pros have been worth the ink on their rookie contracts...

he's a waste pick and assinine for anyone before the 6th round...at some point i guess you can take a chance on the measurables...but your asking for a kneedle in a hay stack...just know that

anyways i've heard a lot of cinci buzz here...

some team with a worst record will get him before we would anyway.....we would have to spend a 3rd or 4th.

If the Dolphins want him it won't be for a 6th. He will most likely garner a 4th and perhaps a 3rd from someone. Putting in a 6th for him is equal to not bidding for him at all. I don't like him as a QB but he does have a lot of athleticism that if he didn't make it as a QB and he is open to a position change, he may be worth a it.

where does all the talk about pryor converting to tight end come from? do people actually think he could hold up at the point of attack, even if the intention is obviously the seam threat we have been lacking since i dunno keith jackson.

Oh no I don't want to add talent to our team! The hell is wrong with some of you? He's a more intriguing prospect than Devlin. I'd love to have him on our team as a 3rd QB and explore other position options as he develops. Unfortunately, we don't have a 4th anymore. Also I believe the way the supplemental is structured we draft behind a lot of teams. So it would probably take our 3rd and I am not down with that.

I'm ok with this ONLY if he is not considered the answer to all the qb problems. That basically means hes just more competition for whoever is here.

If we assume henne is not the guy....I want to draft someone round 1 next season. Not count on Pryor to be the franchise qb.

At his size and with that speed, I'd take him and see where he can help this team. If he is converted to a te, keep him in on passing downs or run away from him. He can used in the wildcat when needed and would allow us to completely remove Henne from the equation. In goaline situations, he'd be able to move out to wr and give Henne a 6'5 target. All of these qualities warrant picking him up rather than another cornfed lineman in the draft that will be with the team as a camp body for 3 years then cut.

If they do draft him, can you please make a long nonsense thread with a lot of words censored out complaining about the front office? Also, please don't forget to throw in Matt Ryan and take shots at Henne. I can't live without my daily dose of nonsense. Thanks in advance.

So taking that stance on your opinion, would it have been also a wasted pick for the Dolphins when they picked up Jim Jensen? I can bet on one Man strongly disagreeing with your assessment and that being the "Man" himself..Mr Dan Marino. Jim Jensen was also the exact type of player we would be utilizing Pryor as, a Utility player, who would also be used as a QB, RB, TE, WR, ST, Kick Holder and in some instances a Punter (maybe)...in any event I long for the days that any QB of ours can refer to a player again as "MR AUTOMATIC" . I would hope that the Dolphins front office has not forgotten how valuable a player of this caliber can be to an orgainization and has not dispelled the possible Net worth based on personnal opinion alone as many individuals on this site have. I would have no problem taking Pryor with a 4th in this draft and could even exercise the idea of a 3rd if I thought I could recover that pick with a later trade hands down, to guarantee we got our man. Can anyone say for certain he can't be better than Henne? It's really not that steep of a leap and not out of the realm of a possibility.
