Fin Fan Venting after tough loss

This is the 3rd time this season that this has occured. I remember the Buffalo game when Ronnie fumbled at the 15 to stop the game winning drive.

Then last week, we're driving down again, and GREAT GUS throws a pick to end the rally.

So this week, Gus takes a snap of the nutsack, picks it up, and throws, what i thought was the game winning TD pass. I actully thought for once, we'd get one of these games. But 2 plays later, Tom I HATE YOU Brady throws a TD! So we come back down and get 1st and goal and I'm thinking this is awesome, O.T. But 3 terrible play calls followed by a dropped TD pass.

How many times can this team build us up, then tear out our hearts? I've been alive 18 years and a fan for 12. I didn't follow the team too closely till about age 12, but these past 6 years, I have had aqua blood flowing through my veins.

Reason for optimism though, I think once Saban gets his guys he really wants this team can compete in 2006. Lets face it, the 2005 ship has been sunk, it's over. But i got some questions.

Does anyone know of any free agent QB's to be that would fit in here in Miami? And also maybe a WR? We need vetren players at those spots and not draft there, but spend our draft on young defense and some solid O-Linemen. I think we have a team that can WIN NOW, we just need a DECENT quarterback... sorry for the long thread but thanks.

nice take! You blamed Gus for the whole loss in a roundabout way. Nice take! Not! This team is not ready because everyone on it is not a team player. And i woulds add that the Miami fans are the worst in the league, bar none.

Well I think we're more than a couple of players but we're not as far as some critics would think we are. I don't know who is out there for next year as a FA QB, but I'm more for trying to draft someone who you can develope.

I think this team needs a little more than a franchise QB...we need tougher players....guys who can catch the ball in clutch situations....guys that force turnovers on defense.....D-backs who dont stand around and let a guy catch a ball that should be intercepted. We don't have many tough players on the Phins....too many soft guys and guys like Chambers who whine to the refs about pass interference instead of making plays with the games on the line...I am ready to throw in the towel on this year.

I don't think he was neccesarily blaming Gus, he's just trying to come up with the best way to improve our team. Our team would be hugely improved with an above average QB. I'm actually frustrated that Gus played so well and we still lost; he earned himself a few more chances and I'd like to see Sage or Lemon play just for the entertainment value; even if we lost (which we probably would) it would still be fun to see Sage get a chance, whereas Gus is not going to improve.

I used to beat my wife, children, and my dog. Now they have all left and I have nothing left to beat. I just don't understand - it was only on Sundays.

YES, I am kidding!

Nah. Miami fans aren't the worst in the league. Miami fans have been through alot. The fans don't get traded. They are there for everything. Miami has been disappointing for too long now. The fans are afraid to get their hopes up. The fans are at a point where you say, "I will believe it when I see it."
