John Mullin and K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins are attempting to secure free agent QB Brian Griese (Buccaneers). The Dolphins were in contact with Griese's agent, Ralph Cindrich, on Monday, March 20.

It also said that the Bears, Bengals, and Bucs are looking to sign him.
 
I dont know, mabye Griese is a Poor Man's Brees....except that his shoulder is not injured, but his leg is....oh yea...by US last year.

That would give us 2 QBs with serious knee injuries
 
Oh, and dont think the "family ties" wont play into his decision.
 
This would be just perfect, but do I see it happening? No. He knows Daunte is the man here, he would be signing on as purely a backup.

In any case, I always thought Brian didnt get a fair shot here and would welcome another Griese in a Fins uniform.
 
man Griese almost got us an incredible win, if it wanst for Wade Smith turing into a turstile against Dwight Freeney....against the Colts.
 
is it me or does it seem liek we dont want to lose any games this year due to any reason? awesome man just awesome. how is his knee neways?
 
I would love Griese as our back-up, probably the best option available if he is healthy!!
 
I called this 3 or 4 days ago i dont know why i just think he will end up here, i would love it if he has a decent line he can be a good qb. his knee was not that bad was it? i thought it was just 1 ligament?

Ricky was supposed to help Smith and totally sucked
 
Griese never got a fair shake when he was here the first time (one of Wannys biggest f-ups imo), so I`d be very surprised if he returned. That being said, I`m not really sure where he would go to be the starter, so maybe we do have a chance to land him. I know I would feel a whole lot better about our quarterbacks with him on the roster, rather than someone like Maddox.
