According to Jay Glazer: read the bottom of the blurb. So what do you think? Also interesting note about potential trade with the Bears. Would we want Staley or Ginn with the Bear's pick?


Miami — Trade down with Chicago, who moves up to six with a Lance Briggs deal, and take Brady Quinn. This is a very hot rumor running around the league and, in fact, league sources even say the two teams have had some minor exploratory talks about such a move. I think even if they trade for Trent Green, it's a solid move for the new Cam Cameron Era. Side note: the Chiefs equipment guy has already sent Green's shoulder pads and other equipment he uses down to Miami thinking that deal will get done. Do I think that Chicago moves up and then trades with Miami? Not really. Not sure they think they'll have to move for him if Quinn gets out of the top four. Miami is also shopping Marty Booker to pick up additional picks in this draft.

Jay Glazer where you have been? I'm not so sure it's truly speculation. Booker being traded while not ideal was always a possibility in my book considering he's so easily moveable salary-wise.

As always the price is a major factor but if a team in need of a veteran wide receiver such as the 49ers offers me a nice selection I'll do the trade.

Hagan would take that spot and there's no doubt that we would take another wide receiver, keep Kelly Campbell, and likely a P.K. Sam or Hakim.

It is not an ideal scenario however.

No he's not and if there is a year to risk it it's this year with depth so strong at wide receiver.

WE lack depth at WR why get rid of the WR that is actually dependable? Man Hagan must be WOWing cam for this to happen. If this happens I see us actually TRADING down and take Meachem or Ginn then. Either that and grab Jarret in the second but he looks like another Mike Williams.

:lol: at you thinking Booker is better than Chambers. Just like Joey Harrington was the future at QB huh?

I think Booker could be amunition to move up to #2 and get Quinn if the FO feels that's as far as we'd have to go. I would be for trading Booker and picking up some picks, I'd like to see what Hagan can do any how. I'm very high on him, I think he can be a very solid player in this league.

First of all, way to contribute to the thread. It's good that you bring a solid opinion to this thread.

2nd, it's not my opinion, just rumblings and grumblings I've herd. I like to search around various sites and form my own opinions rather than provide nothing when it comes to football knowledge.

Chambers isn't our best WR.

I'm just saying when you're almost dead last in dropped passes and was teh highest goto guy you're not a number 1 WR. Besides that it doesnt even look likes he gives 100% now a days.
