why does the Pro Bowl ballot have FR instead of FF

For DEs they have Fumble Recoveries as one of the three stats (Takcles, Sacks,FR) Why dont they have forced fumbles. Those are so much harder to get. FRs are more about right place, right time than FF.

Also JT has countem 7 FF.
 
Well I used to vote every dolphin on the ballot but this year I decided against it.

To me Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, Vonnie Holliday and Yerimiah Bell (as the special teamer) deserve the pro bowl.
 
The only player on this team that deserves the pro bowl is Jason Taylor......
 
How can Zach be leading the league in tackles and not deserve the Pro Bowl? Has to be JT, and Zach. Bell hasn't started long enough. We have NObody on our offense that deserves to go, that's for sure.
 
Jason Taylor is going to make it this year no doubt. I Want Wes and Bell to go and Maybe Zach deserves to go too.

JT's gonna go. at this point he'd go even if he was having an off year just because of his popularity. I'd love it if Bell and wes made it but i doubt there national popularity is too high. Zach will go because he always does...although with ray lewis and Vilma in the afc hes got tough competition now.

:confused: So according to you, leading the league in tackles means nothing? Zach deserves to also be in.
 
Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas are shoo-ins.

Vonnie Holliday is making a real push to get in, being the leading tackler (I think) and sacker among defensive tackles in the AFC.

And I don't see why Wes should get in...he's not among the top returners and he's not among the top recievers. Yeah, he was in Weeks 1-4...but not anymore.
 
i think traylor should make it... hes been a dominant run stuffing force, and he even has 4 sacks out the DT spot... if he can stay healthy and play out he should make it...

i think carey should make it too
