They mentioned Justin Smiley, our new guard from the niners, is gonna be on sometime soon. They didn't say exactly when just thought I'd give you all the heads up.

Please provide updates :)

Said in s.f. larry allen was still considered the main guy. Said looks forward to proving he is a good player. Said in s.f felt like he was kind of thrown into the fire. Said he told parcells that he will make sure the fins get their $ worth. He said he is ready to be the man.

Said Parcells and co told him that they want to provide competition in miami. Said in the past they felt like no one was worried about losing their spot.

Justin Smiley on Sirius

Great spot...the guy is fired up to go to Miami and said he was impressed by some of our additions.

Seems like a great guy, very happy ...and said "all you down in dolphin country just know we will turn this around"

others have said the same, but i got chills for a second hahah

he said he is amazed at josh mccown's size, as well as ernest wilford...

he also said beck prolly started a little earlier than he should of, like himself, but will be a better player because of it.

great attitude on this guy!!

I'm glad BP's head isnt in the gutter like many other ppls is. That has been the problem for years. WHy you think hadnot is SOOO SURPRISED he isnt gettin a contract? our past regime treated him like a steve hutch.

Why you think booker never worked on his footwork and kept falling down? he knew no one was goin to take his spot.

Why you think Crowder is stuck at being ntn but a man that just gets tackles here n there? cuz we treat him like the next ZT.

...and everyone was in good with Ted ginns family...

i don't have Sirius, and being up here in D.C. for right now,i don't get to hear what you guys here down there in my homestate of Florida,so i can only go by what y'all post and what i know myself...you say he sounds like he has a great attitude huh, that's sweet to hear.

Something I picked up on as well. He mentioned him at right guard, and Satele at center. He mentioned Vernon Carey but didnt say his position. Then he said left guard is vacant as is left tackle and Parcells said they would be bringing in some people. Maybe he was told Carey will be moved back to the right side. Does this mean we will draft Jake long or Take Chris long 1st, then whatever top LT that falls out of the first round, grab him with our 1st pick in the 2nd. Very interesting stuff from Smiley. I got pumped up just listening to him.

I noticed this as well. What worries me about the above situation is starting a rookie at LT coupled with a new LG. If we had a proven VET already there I wouldn't be as concerned but we don't. Look for Jason Fabini to come in and compete for the LG spot along with Drew Mormino.

Don Shula drafted Richmond Webb and Ken Simms in the same draft. They started LT and LG until Jimmy Johnson was hired. We don't need worry about the experience as much as talent, drive, and intelligence.
