spielmans draft choices were not that bad it was his trades that done him in IMO

Spielman has always found some major talent in the later rounder, but the early rounds and FA/trades in what got him.

You guys talk about him as if he ruined the team.

He's not that bad.

He's not that bad.

He's not a bad talent evaluator. He was placed in a no win situation last year and he had pressure from DW to win now. I think Huizenga should have taken away DW's pwer 2-3 yrs ago and let RS take charge of personnel. What happened last year was too little too late

Hopefully Atlanta will appreciate him. Not like around here when 85% of his picks from the past two years are starting, and he's STILL a bad guy. Funny considering he was one of our best drafters.

He's a really good talent evaluator and will probably help them a lot. I think he was in a bit over his head as a GM here, but look at how many draft picks are starting or playing regularly for the phins. He was involved in drafting those guys.

Its only an interview process.Rick is pretty good at selling himself. He comes equipped with charts and audiovisual tools. He will probably get a job somewhere.I just wish it was with the Jets,Pats or the Bills.

He wasn't bad at what he was good at. (Haha, I sound like Yogi Berra). Unfortunately, what he was bad at, he was really, really, really bad at. And it hurt him. Badly. Great word choice, huh?

Rick was a real good talent evaluator and got us some late-round steals (Pope, Hadnot, Poole, etc) and showed some sense by pushing HARD for Boldin even though Wanny overruled him and took Eddie "The Human Medical Chart" Moore instead. He wasnt a good negotiator and got taken at the bargaining table repeatedly, but he's a great head scout type guy.
