2 coaches don't share Miami's philosophy
Of the three assistants interviewed Wednesday, the Giants' Tim Lewis and the Lions' Mike Martz have expressed views contrary to what the Dolphins want for the near future.
I posted the same thing in the VIP area, it also had this tidbit
There have been reports that Miami defensive coordinator Dom Capers, who worked with Coughlin in Jacksonville, will run the defense if he is not promoted to the top job with the Dolphins.

If that's the case I absolutely want to bring Cam Cameron in here now! Highest scoring offense + 3rd ranked defense = Super Bowl!
He is one of the first candidates that will probably be eliminated .
BTW Marino was recommending Jim Fassel during the last coaching search.

Capers would run the Giant's defense, not ours. The quote assumes you know it's referring to the Giants.
Dolphins defensive coordinator Dom Capers is reportedly "an early favorite" to move into the same post with the Giants. Capers worked under Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville and is a supporter of the 3-4 defense. Other than Osi Umenyiora, New York's ends are small and Mathias Kiwanuka and Michael Strahan aren't OLB types. On paper, Capers doesn't seem a good fit barring a free-agent spending spree.
