Merged: Goodman has surgery again

Goodman's surgery makes me nervous.... along with Ginn's ankle, Ricky's failed drugtest and unlikely comeback, along with Culpepper's knee situation..... I'm hoping these are not bad omen's for the season!?!?!
Anybody know the status of Jason Taylor's back?....I'm hoping that is all corrected with no residual issues goin on there?!

^ hey buddy i think you need to relax and maybe get a beer lol ... season is longs way away and i belive all of them will be healthy by then.

Out indefinitely does not sound promising. I have a lurking feeling that Jason Allen as nickel back may go down in Dolphin lore in the same category as Corey Harris, Jamar Fletcher, and T-Buck the second time around.

I hope I am wrong.

I think he will be better than Fletcher.... T-buck was good, not the greatest tackler and did take quite a few risks. I think Allen will be alot further along this year.

goodman has surgery

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...1407,0,5010912.story?coll=sfla-dolphins-front Dolphins cornerback Andre' Goodman, a 14-game starter last season, underwent surgery on his troublesome left shoulder Friday and is out indefinitely.

Goodman, who had the procedure done at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, initially underwent surgery on the shoulder Jan. 18 and re-injured it during a minicamp practice May 4.

Goodman was a slightly above average starter, but Daniels is now healthy and Jason Allen should be more improved.

Many doctors(team and outside), Cameron, Mueller and Ginn have all said he should be healthy when Training Camp roles around. They also state that his recovery time is nothing out of the ordinary.

Ricky was never in the plans for the Dolphins. Only thing Miami loses is a potential 5th or 6th round draft choice.

Culpepper is also not in the plan. WHEN Trent Green gets here, he will be released/traded.

Taylor had back worries going into the 06' season. The same season that earned him the DPOTY award. No worries there.

I was kind of hoping that we would have drafted a d-back like John Wendling out of Wyoming. We need guys to stay with all of the receivers the Patsies now have. Hopefully JT will rip Tom Brady a new one and our d-backs will get it done, but I don't think we did much to address our defensive secondary needs. :shakeno:

DeAndre Jackson was the highest rated undrafted ..

defensive back next to the kid from Georgia Tech. I know he is recovering from an injury, but why not sign him. Miami had him in for a visit.

Our secondary was bad last year. After this, we'll have to pray every time our opponents pass the ball:crutch:

Our secondary is the weakest part of our defense, and all we did was switch Eddie Jackson for Cameron Worell. Daniels is a decent starter, but I would have preferred Goodman to start and allow Daniels and Allen play in nickel and dime situations.
