Starting Running Back On Opening Day

I was just wondering who will be our staring running back on Opening Day, Gordon? The reason I ask is Ricky will be serving his time, and hopefully it doesn't come to this, however if brown doesn't get his deal done, could we possible be looking at Gordon starting the year at running back?

Yea
Brown will def have his deal set up by then. He wants to play the game he isnt like T.O. :D

Ronnie will start and we will see plenty of Gordon.

Maybe that 3rd round pick will pay some dividends this season.

Dont worry guys, Brown will be signed and ready for the season opener.

nfl total access said if brown isn't signed it will be gordon because ricky will be suspened.
I didn't watch TA tonight, but they actually think their is a chance Brown might not be signed by game 1 of the regular season?

that would be terrible if we dont get Ronnie Brown signed by opening day. Personally, i dont think u should give a KID (Ronnie Brown is like what, 23 years old?) a contract worth SOOOO MUCH money. But so many rookies demand the highest pay possible...i dont care if ur a top pick, ur only 22,23 years old! I hope we get Ronnie Brown signed, if not...that will suck @$$. I dont have all the confidence in Gordon or Williams...maybe we'll see Kay Jay Harris play more. But overall, i think Brown will be signed. Ill be angry if he doesnt, cuz of all the time and effort we spent on him.

I think it is very rare that a 1st rounder isn't signed by opening day.

If Brown isn't signed, I think Nick would probably be inclined to start the game with Morris but work Harris and Gordon into the mix quite a bit. I think you'd have to go with your most seasoned hand not coming off a bad injury in that situation.

i think travis minor might get some action starting if all doesnt go well with ronnie

The reason I bring this up is they usually have 6 years with top picks to work with, and due to the collective bargaining agreement they will only have 5 years. I would like to see Gordon, and Morris get time, if Brown isn't signed. I am not being negative, but there are a lot of people who belive this will a tough year to get top picks into camp on time. I hope Brown gets his deal done in time. I was just looking for other thoughts on which way we will go if Brown isn't in uniform in time.
