MERGED: Greg Bedard's Friday Morning Practice Blog

About time, I've been checking periodically throught the afternoon waiting for him to post it up. Thanks TT.

good read, troubling to hear roth is being thought of so poorly by the media only 5 days into camp.

From the reports that i had read here, it says that Roth is doing really well. It sucks that we are missing alot of guys, but i hope that they can comeback in tonight's practice.

Ouch Roth = Kumerow thats a harsh judgement 5 days into it... (I know he mentioned that fact but then why bring it up).

Mare hits post 5 times in a row? whats the odds on that? Maybe he needs a golfing coach to stop him hooking and slicing!! seriously tho i think he needs a coach to watch his rythym and stance during the kicks. He is getting the distance, just the accuracy thats the problem. Thats disturbing considering Mare is a vet.
Dont know what to make about Roth. Maybe its a learning curve with him, i hope so cos alot of ppl on here including myself are expecting good things from him.

glad to hear kevin carter playing at a high intensity... and good to hear feeley felt he needed to come out and practice even if hes not 100% healthy...

If Mare doesn't improve this year, then this will be his last with us. Ever since 2002, Mare started to decline his production and he hasn't been improving. He might need to hire a kicking coach to help him out.

Maybe he is actually extremely accurate??? Maybe he was aiming for the post!

well I think in Roths case he is used to getting it done with his first step... the only player I know that makes a living of that at least early in their career was Freeney and Roth is very quick but he is not Freeney....Hes going to have to add some stuff to his Passrush.. setting up O-lineman and some more moves He will be fine it just might take a bit of time.

Send me naked pictures please.

Interesting read on Roth, but I'm not too concerned just yet. Also remember teams will be double teaming JT, so Roth will have an easier time at it.
