Merged: Grigsby cut, FB Cramer signed, D. Thomas out for season?

IMO David Martin made Boomer expendable. He was blocking as a "FB" on many occasions this weekend.

Who is Evan Mathis?

Cramer has maintained his 1999 Toyota Corolla with 110,000 miles instead of buying a luxury vehicle. Cramer says his priority is saving his money and growing it with investments for the future. Don't know much about him other than he's a smart Dartmouth graduate, drafted toward the end of the 04 draft and seems to have been cut a couple of times. Doesn't sound particularly compelling aside from him having the right idea regarding asset utilization (although he should consider leasing, LOL). Was Boomer that bad??

As far as Thomas, I wish I didn't read this just before beddybye time. Ugh!!!

2005 Third-rounder by Panthers out of Alabama. Started 15 games for Carolina at RG in 2006 but played in only one last season.
 
We may be bringing in Mathis as insurance. Donald said today he wasnt even going for an MRI, he played nearly 3 quarters with the injury and that he thought he would be practicing Wednesday.
 
You know what.....as piss poor as Satele has been looking, and with the rumblings even during camp....would we reconsider looking at LeCharles Bentely??

What exactly was his physical status when they first looked into him?

Wasnt there rumblings of him signing and moving Satele to G anyway?

Isnt it the case that if you sign a guy after week one you can make his contract non-guarenteed for the season?

Just questions. I dont have the answers.
 
So this is a Mike Maser/Dan Henning guy. Interesting. Was he cut on final cut day?
