We better be getting McCown... I shudder at the thought of Cleo Lemon starting the 06 season.
 
I'm not surprised nor dissapointed but I do wonder who is gonna be our backup, because I doubt the team is ready to hand that job to Lemon given that we have not even seen him in a preseason game.
 
I really hope the Fins are planning on bringing him back at a lesser price....if not, we may be in for a very rough start to next season.
 
Frerotte could be brought back....though it's unlikely

T.Maddox is a name that's been thrown around. That's not a name that's gonna excite anyone, but Mularkey is familiar with him and the price should be right.
 
I seen it also. I hope its true but Miami needs to focus on other team area's beside the Qb now. They have also said Daunte should be ready for the start of the season, but its only speculation cbviously.
 
If this is true, who's gonna start for us until Daunte is game ready???????

Don't hold your breath......he's gonna cost a lot for a back-up.
 
why would we cut him before culpepper passes his physical? if he does fail, then we have no qb. does anyone know when this physical will take place?
 
The GREAT news here is that we know that Daunte will definately take #11....so I can order my jersey as soon as he passes his physical. :lol:
 
I read that cutting Frerotte only saves us 1.4 million. Is this right? If so, it seems awfully low to what I have heard on here.
 
now that Gus is gone, is there any way that we might draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round this year?? I would like to see us get Croyle.....does anyone else think this is possible????
