If Gus connected on half of his missed opportunities, we would have at least another win, if not 2. Why can't he hit the open guys in the endzone????

He's misfired three times today already.

Underthrew Boston on the bomb. Threw behind Randy on the INT. Overthrew a WIDE OPEN Welker in the endzone.

It sucks because he's so good in the pocket and generally makes very good decisions. He's just not at all accurate.

i have more faith in sage than frerotte. Frerotte would be the one to lose us the game. Sage is much better even if many people dont believe it.

To be honest, I don't feel like Gus loses/will lose us games. I just feel like he can't win them.

On Welker landing well beyond the endzone
Announcer:

"When your recievers crash into the fence", "Gus you threw it too far."

It's official now...Gus sucks ***.

I mean, how do you overthrow a wide-open guy in the end zone THAT BADLY? For God's sake, this guy has left 4-5 TD's on the field already this season.

And, it's not like we can expect him to "develop" and get better - this is it! This is as good as he gets!

:shakeno:

Leaving points on the field didn't cost us games?

Ya I frankly just can't see why in the world Sage doesn't get a chance...

Gus also misfired to McMike down the middle on that drive right before the half.

yes he has missed some passes today...but he is 13-19 with 139 in the half...if you had asked me if i would be happy with those stats at half before the game i would have said i would be thrilled. The INT bothered me a bit, but not horrible.

Gus is one of those, who appear heavily reliant on rythm.
Like Bledsoe, whenever we got in his face he choked huge.

The short dink passes, and running, has allowed for "some" rythm.
He's not out of the funk by any means, but this guy definitely needs some sense of rythm to operate.

My take anyway..

Whichever team is more committed to giving this game away,
will walk away with the loss.
