Heat lost, Marlins/Dolphins must win

Now it's up to the Dolphins or the Marlins to bring a championship to South Florida..I feel kinda sad the Heat lost, that Kid Wade played with a lot of heart...

Hopefully the Dolphins if not this year will be able to bring a championship to Miami...

The heat fizzled, are the phins poised to be favorites

With a heart breaking loss in game seven of the Eastern conference finals, the amazing trip for the heat comes to a close. I look forward to the heat winning it all next year !!!!!

With that said, the limelight will now make a shift. Either to the Marlins or our beloved Dolphins. With the current signing of Meuler, and mini camp on the horizon (the public one) it seems as if the phins can step right back into the limelight of Miami. With all the off-season fun that has been had, will the fins be larger then the heat? Will this season cement the dolphins as an unshakable #1 in south Florida. It is my opinion that the heat generated enough hoopla to rustle the fan base down hear and nothing more. Again congrats heat on a great season, congrats Detroit on a close series and good win.

GO PHINS

I'd love for the Dolphins to avenge the Heat's loss. :)

If the Dolphins can prove to everybody that they can actually play with all the controversy everywhere from old players to ricky than they might become the #1 team in South Florida, but I think that once a sport season begins than all the attention to go to that local team, unless if a team like the Heat make an incredible run for a championship.

I've been a HEAT season ticket holder for almost 10 years now. This was a great season in terms of going deep in the playoffs, but the team itself was very uneven....

Shaq is worthless on defense, but then again, our entire defense sucked all season long IMO. The rebounding was horrendous as well. Mourning was the only player who stood up on defense during the playoffs, and he's basically on one leg. That's sad....

Wade is incredible, but he's about all we have on offense. D. Jones did his best R. Alston impression this year. He played great during the season, and disappeared once the playoffs started. He should also be held responsible for losing last night IMO. His turnover killed us, and when we had a chance to get within 3, he choked at the FT line....

I could go on and on about how poor this team played in this series against Detroit, but it's not worth it. It's over for the Heat, and I think this was our best, and last great opportuinity to win it all. From here on out, the Heat will need to focus on rebuilding with younger players, who know how to get physical and play some damn defense for a change....

That was a horribly coached game last night by Van Gundy. He made horrible decisions late, and it cost us the game in the end. No excuses, the Heat choked. Just like when we played. and lost to the Knicks all those years. I felt like I was in a time-warp last night....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

the only thing i could agree with u is that DJ just simply SUCKED, but beyond that ur crazy. that was a hell of a game and a hell of a series. and if u want to look fir an excuse,.. how can u expect to beat the defending world champs with ur starting 5 all with some type of injury, and ur 2 stars with the most serious injuries. and it still went 7 games. Hell of a geame and a hell of a series
