so you would rather us be totally **** and be the laughing stick of the NFL and have a raider like season, rather than being afc champions and having a bears like season. dude that is one ****ed up view to me.
if we can get to the bowl even if we lose tleast then you know you have some strong foundations and are a respected team with good potential going into next season and hopefully would have smashed your rivals to pieces ie pats bills jets.
That doesnt make any sense. Why even bother rooting for a team if they arent superbowl contenders right off the bat. Obviously you care because you kept saying how it was a waste of your time - You care about your time don't you?

Who would they be? One offense, one defense. Ignore issues like salary, this is purely hypothetical. Who would you bring here that could successfully play in Dom Capers' defense and Cam Cameron's offense? It could either be a one or two year solution or a younger guy that could be a lynchpin of this team for years to come.

I have asked myself this question plenty of times. Yeah, what a great "ride" it would be to make the playoffs and go all the way. But man oh man, what a long day the Superbowl would be. All the hype, all the anticipation, all the booze!!! It would be great to bet there but losing would be so disheartening I am not sure it would be worth it all. I will still go, would rather them go and lose then not go at all no matter how much it would hurt.
