Well before the season started, and before even pre season, I told you all that once this guy gets some game action he WILL NOT look back and will be a fixture on our defense for years to come. I said he has the ability to be a key to the defense.. OUR defense.. And yes, an NFL defense.

Look here.. His first start he gets a sack, forces a QB fumble on another play, and forces Edwards out of the pocket on another play to force a bad throw resulting in a punt.. Giving the ball back to our offense... Along with a couple other pressures.. And All in just the 1st half !

Wake has BY FAR the fastest arc to the QB.. He is faster than both Porter and Taylor at this stage of their careers.. But you would not listen.

I told you doubters how foolish you would look when he actually gets a start. And here we are.

I told you all in the Cam Wake threads over the summer, that this guy is a bonafide NFL talent. Saw him for years in the CFL and he is very good at getting to the passer..EXCEPTIONALLY good. And I don't care if it's the CFL, NFL, college, or the arena league, his talent was EYE opening !!!


As I said after the Indy and Atlanta games, it was INCREDIBLY stupid not to use his pass rush talent in those games.. And not having any exotic blitz packages with him included... It would have made a difference in those games.
 
I listened bro. i told them 2. he played on y hometown team here in vancouver and he is a beast. dont make me pull out the cam wake bc lions jersey!!! Wake should start the rest of the season..
 
I Said The Samething He Should Have 3 Sacks Already Today He Was Held On The One Play With No Call By The Refs, He Is Going To Be A Beast Like I Said Before.
 
I have been the biggest Cam Wake supporter on this board.. Check all my previous posts about Wake.. I must have had over 100 of them.

I said anyone who doubts this guy will look very silly when he plays

I can't wait to here backpeddling around here...things like "I never said he couldn't be good...only that the chances of someone coming from the CFL weren't very good...yada...yada...yada..."

yeah...well they are looking pretty damn good now.

Oh...and anyone want to argue about how good Anderson is compared to Wake right about now?
 
It was through this site that learned I learned of Cam.

As such was going to give Wake the benefit of the doubt, So far so sood.

There are times I want to find Goon, tie him to a chair, and force feed him roadkill crow until he begs for death. And then I take a breath and realize he isn't worth it.
 
Alot of people wouldn't give Wake any credit because he was from the Canadian league. Even though he was the first defensive player too earn player of the year 2 seasons in a row. He had alot too prove and he did it today. Don't think you need too tell anyone now too play him. :o]

They're all mysteriously absent.

BTW, Charlie Anderson looked like garbage in the ten plays he was in against the same OT.. Anderson was getting pushed out of the way easily against the same OT Wake went up against.

All Buffalo's OT had to do was breathe on Anderson to get him out of the way. Meanwhile Wake was dominating. He was fantastic..
 
I knew wake was a good signing from the start. Awesome pick up by the trifecta!
 
Wake and JT make a good duo! Anyway Wake play with porter? imagine Wake, JT, and Porter all out there.
 
what's the official sack stat for Wake today? 2? 2.5? 3?
