While posting in a thread it was merged & locked.

Why? Just because you did not like the topic?

There were no TOS in the thread.

Maybe a you should list the topic so posters cannot make their own.

I don't recall the offering of any new points in your thread, which was exactly why it got merged with another thread of the same sort. As for the locking, maybe you should've give the mods a heads up or asked us via pm.

When two threads are merged and one of them is open, the new thread is supposed to be open. For some reason, it closed. Nobody noticed because it never happens.

BTW - you're supposed to be able to reply to a thread while it's been merged. It was never a problem before. My thinking is that is a flaw in the current version of the forum software, which will be upgraded soon.
