Well at least you feel better. But, how do you know who forgot what?
I always find it funny how people think the other person must know nothing.
But this is a waste of a thread.

people have a right to their opinion of course, i only hope that over the next few months they will forget about brees and realize that daunte is our QB and support him like the phin fans they are.

i was one of them, then yesterday i woke up, i may not have liked him before but hes my new fav QB. lets go daunte

I just have this to say. As Fineas said in the Manifesto, the whole, Pep's success was tied to Moss thing is totally rediculous. Was Joe Montana's not tied to Jerry Rice, Was Dan Marino's not tied to Duper and Clayton, is Manning's not tied to Harrison? Now does that mean they are horrible quarterback without those receivers, HELL no it doesn't. If it was just so easy as for Daunte to just step on the field, get the snap, drop back, and fire the ball down field and let Moss run under it for Touchdowns, if it was THAT easy, then how come Kerry Collins is looking for a job tonight?

Well said fellow Phin fan :dolphins: . I hate dumpstrick anti fans too :tantrum: . Welcome aboard Pepper :D

Debate is a great thing, when it's healthy and backed up. Not just because "you don't like them"...

I've always been a Culpepper fan, because of his talents.

I remember when the Eagles came to town, and I was amazed of the size of McNabb. Compared to Fiedler, he looked like a linebacker... Now we have a big stud taking the snaps. No doubt, Culpepper has talent, and so does our coach. Look what he did with our team last year...

Give it some time... It's still March... But accept the direction that Saban is taking us. I'm sure we will all be excited with the results.

I must say though Gus did a good job.I want him as are number 2.

Dead on with the Kerry Collins thing.

I personally thought Gus did a great job. First year coach coming off a 4-12 season. Fan base not behind you... And he didn't lose any games for us... He could have won us a few more, but he didn't outright lose them.

I would love to see Gus back here, but he probably won't be. I'm sure he made a case to start somewhere last season, and I hope he gets his shot...

But I appreciate what Gus did for us last year... That was a difficult situation...

If we had gotten Brees, just as many people would have been complaining about Brees and coming up with scores of reasons he would have been a failure with the Fins. Too short, arm too weak, benifitted from LT,..etc...etc..

Gus won 7 out of 13 games. The team is (and has been) full of talent.

Look at the Texans, the 49ers, and the Cardinals, and then tell me we were a bad team. 2004 was an off year. It was not at all indicative of the franchise before that.

If Nick Saban had the 2004 Dolphins with Gus at the helm, Leonard Henry, Brock Forsey, Travis Minor, and others at running back, and a completely shuffled and horribly underperforming line, he'd be lucky to go 6-10.

I agree, somewhat... Hudson Houck has done an amazing job with the same group as 2004... The TEAM won 9 games this year, but with Gus being a little more accurate in some of them, we could have pulled one or two out...

I'm not saying we were a bad team at all... But there were many, many challenges... Competing against ahem, AJ... new coaching staff, hurricanes, media, fans, etc... That's all I was saying...
