Is There Anyone We Can E-mail or Contact

About this BS about not being able to show our game on Direct TV Sunday Ticket. I know this is not DTV's fault, we need the folks who negotiate the TV contract for the NFL. Does anyone know how to contact them. I mean the NFL is always praised for the "trickle down" profit effect they have for all of their products. they push Sunday Ticket, Fantasy football and all kinds of promotions then deprive fans of what metters to them most. Seeing their team play football.

Call your congressman and tell him to put an exception into that arcane federal law for date/time changes prompted by natural disasters.

Can an "Official Fin Complaint" thread be started?

Mods:

Can you guy start an official complaint thread about the Fins being blacked out in Orlando and on The Ticket? I live near Orlando and I have a The Ticket. I have demanded a refund from all involved. Please start a thread that can be forwarded to the out of touch suits in the ivory towers of New york , New York.

Thanks,

The Honorable Mr. Yu

Call the league office. It is not contractual, it is just "longstanding policy."

"We are not extending the telecast to more markets because we want to adhere as closely as possible to the spirit of our longstanding policy not to conflict with high school and college football during their seasons [which means Friday night and Saturday]," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.

Is there really highschool football on the major networks on firday nights?
Or are they afraid if they show it then nobody will attend the highschool games?

Yes on point #2.
The anti-trust rule was designed to protect live gates at high schools for Fridays and Colleges on Saturdays. This was done under the mistaken belief that if a game, any game, was on tv, then no one would go see the live game in the area. Of course that has been proven over time to be failed policy. Televised games actually increase the live gate.
