Harvey Fialkov, of the Miami Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor (foot) suffered a foot injury during Week 6 and was walking around the team's facility on crutches Monday afternoon, Oct. 17. Taylor will be re-evaluated Thursday, Oct. 20 and could be sidelined during Week 7. "As we expected it would, [there was] quite a bit of swelling and we're going to keep him off the foot for a couple of days,'' head coach Nick Saban said. "We'll evaluate his status later in the week which is probably Thursday before we can do that.'' Taylor could see his 86-game playing streak snapped this week due to the injury

I hope that it gets better later on in the week.

Boy we need him against the Chiefs. They have a tough OL and Roaf will eat Roth alive.

If JT doesn't get to play, then David Bowens will likely start because he is the backup of the OE position. I feel safe with Bowens starting, but we sure do need a guy like JT in there.

i think we had the bye week to soon, it would of been better now, but i think taylor will play

He'll play.. if it was that serious he wouldn't have finished the Tampa game.

That's a pretty unfounded comment. Remember when Mcnabb passed for 4 TDs after he was injured? Did he play the next week? Often the reason players can keep playing through an injury is because of the adrenaline in their system.

he can hit Gonzo on the head w/ the crutches.

Definitely some bad news to hear, I don't like the sound of hearing that JT was or is on crutches. Hopefully the injury isn't serious.

This board is funny right now. This topic involving an injury to the best football player on the team cannot draw flies, while the board buzzes about nonsense. The last time JT was even questionable on an injury report was before the KC game in 2002 (sprained knee), he played (not incredibly effective, his worst performance of the 18.5 sack season) and we got blitzed by these same Chiefs. This is a whole lot more pertinent than most of anything else right now and 10 responses in nearly an hour.

If hes out for any legnth of time we are OWNED. As if we get any pressure on the QB with him in the game....:(

whats weird is that channel 5 news on nbc had a psychic predict the season about a week before the opener and she said JT would get injured and be out a few weeks..lol...go figure

If JT is out our D will feel it big time. I sure hope it isnt serious.
