I'm not going to bash JT on this one. He went to the Jets last year basically because the Phins wanted nothing to do with him in any capacity. Now all of the sudden after a year, he has unforseen value he didn't last year? I realize he's just depth, but why wouldn't he have been depth last year? A lot of ??? going on with the FO this year. I'll wait until it's all over to bash or praise them, but so far I'm more ?? than !!!

come on guys it was either play in ny or retire parcells didnt want him here its a buisness im sorry but if i wanted to keep playing the sport i love and my favorite team didnt want me that dont mean i would retire hell im going to play somewhere he wanted to play here parcells DIDNT WANT HIM

I don't care about his year with the jets. I've disliked him for a while now. He isn't about being in the game, he's about being in front of a camera. He was dancing with the stars, while a new regime (though Parcells is an ***) came in looking to make a difference. Where were his leadership skills then? I remember several of our young defensive guys on our squad that could have used the vet JT by their side instead of him out dancing. Then he's mad he didn't get the red carpet thrown his way when he did show. And people say he's not a diva. Meanwhile, as he leaves he bashes fins, and comments how he will retire and begin his acting career, right before his injury riddled season on the skins. Then off to the jets...
We could have done better here. I know it's for depth and he's probably just the situational guy, but if we are saving $ here and not getting someone like Manny Lawson....Ireland better be spending that money elsewhere and get a game changer on offense. Otherwise, I will be pissed.
Point out his legacy, I will point out his countless abscenses from big game situations. He was a no show, as a leader and on the field under pressure. Our beloved captain....lol

I'm fine with bringing him back. Let bygones be bygones, and let him play. He's a good veteran presence that hopefully Misi & Wake can learn from, he'll probably spell either one of those guys too.

This. I think JT described that scenario before being traded to washington, and said he would opt to retire before gong to ny. You cant blame him for still wanting to play. Parcells is gone and apparently there's room for JT on the roster now. Let's see what happens.
