"Jay Cutler will be 2nd QB taken"

Reading ESPN.com, I saw a little side article while I was reading a news story. One of the things in it said "Most scouts feel that vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler will be the 2nd QB taken in next years draft"

I think this means we will be using our 1st rounder on Cutler.

Also one of the little things it said was that saban would be getting a lot of new coaches next year. Anyway, I posted this because a lot of people seem to want Cutler in Rd 2, but it looks like he will be a 1st rounder

Well that just depends..Brees was the 2nd QB taken and it was in the 2nd. Also in 2000 Chad P. was the 1st taken and the 2nd QB was Carmazzi in the 3rd. It just depends on team needs and how highly rated Cutler is depending on his Senior bowl/combine. We'll have to wait and see.
 
If we're going to draft a QB....I'm all for jumping on the "Jay Cutler Bandwagon"
 
Cutler will most likely be the second QB taken if Young and Quinn do NOT declare.


As for the Coaches he needs to replace. I can see a few getting the ax

WR
TE
QB
ST - Maybe
LB - Possibly

just to name a few.
 
if he's the 2nd QB taken I think he'll fall to whatever pick we have
 
im not saying Cutler is bad...but if Young and Quinn and possibly Marcus Vick come out...i dont think Cutler will be the 2nd QB taken

Cutler is a pretty good qb but 1st round is still a reach...he'd have to have a huge senior bowl and combine for me to put him there. Right now hes 2nd/3rd round pick
 
I hope we get Cutler, he is looking pretty good. I don't think we will have a high enough pick for him though.

Vick? LOL. Vick will have no influence on where Cutler goes.

Quinn and Young, yes.

We will but I can't see him going that high, not yet at least. Really I can't see it at all. Now if we are at 10-15 range I wouldn't mind trading down a bit, gathering picks and taking him in the late 1st.
