Updating a previous item, Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports free agent DE David Bowens (Dolphins) will meet with the New York Jets Monday, March 5, according to a source.
 
That's GOT to be a misprint.

They mean David Bowens. Tim Bowens is probably so out of shape right now that if they re-made the Star Wars movies he could play Jabba the Hut.

ESPN is reporting that the New York Jets might take Tim Bowens. Tim Bowens has been retired since 2004. It shows a picture of him and it says his name and "Dolphins" under it. Does someone with the ESPN Insider tell us what it says or do they mean David Bowens?

I just checked. I have ESPN insider, and it says Tim Bowens. It seems they are refering to him. But that would be a big surprise.
 
I know David Bowens was visiting on a FA visit, so I'd say they've confused this one.
 
u spelled McMichael McMicheal but its ok because by the time you fix it he will be off our team MDFinFan
 
Tim definitely did not want to retire. He had back problems that forced him to retire. He and Chester were beasts in the middle.

1st did anyone else see this on ESPN insider that says Tim Bowens is going to the Jets? I thought David Dowens was going to the Jets. I believe they messed up b/c Tim had a bad back and hasnt played with us since 2004. In the article it says that Tim Bowens played games for us last year. That is wrong b/c David is the only Bowens that played for us last season. Anyways I thought this was very funny and I wish Tim Bowens was still able toplay for us! Well heres to a great off-season my dolphins family!:dolphins:

ESPN insider is wrong alot. Alot of those rumors are just that. Every few days they change and give it another team. I wouldnt worry about the insider until a move actually happens.
