MERGED: Jets set to land Law

It's either Detroit who he had a workout with or NYJ who hasn't yet given him a workout. If he signed with the Lions they would have a good group of CBs; Bly, McQuarters, Bryant, then Law, not including their young players with talent whose names don't come to mind at the moment.

Oh well. He would have cost a lot of money, but it is upseting to see him stay in the division.

I was hoping to sign at least one of the following players: Ty Law, Lance Schulters.

We signed Lance, so I am happy. :)

The Lance signing was great though adding Ty Law would've been icing on the cake. So far it's just "close to signing" so there's some hope that Law doesn't become a Jet.

I thought we finally got rid of the guy.... o well, i dont think hell be the Ty Law of old anywayz. Should be solid none the less tho.

Maybe if they sign him, it will go along way to put them in "Cap Hell" in the future...
I don't care how good he's been in the past. There's no way he is worth what he's been asking this offseason. I'm curious how much of a chunk he's had to eat before the J-E-Ts agree to sign him.

This could be a huge mistake by the Jets if they give him a huge contract and he can't play like he did before getting hurt. Hopefully they get locked into a big long-term contract and Law doesn't play well.

Man, I`d hate to see Law sign with the Jets...Reggie Howard is not the answer opposite Madison. Our corners could lit up like a pinball machine this year.
