wow that is kinda suprising . . . I thought he was widely considered as the 3rd best tackle on this team . . . backup RT . . . with Carey being the backup LT and the starting RT and Long being the starting LT.

We are real thin at tackle right now.
 
It was supposedly to make room for Henne, but Ben Volin astutely points out that leaves the roster at 79. He alleges that this could be room for Glenn, but its got to be an OT. I'm puzzled at the Gore and Wilson cuts. Not that I thought they were anything special, or that they would even make the roster, but we were already woefully thin at OT. They have their eye on someone, for sure.
 
Hmm. Havent heard an announcement, but the official roster says we have signed Ruben Riley, a guard from Michigan.

Yea I still think Terry Glenn comes here . . . but I think we cut a WR and bring in a tackle . . . there is 3 tackles on this team currently . . . 2 of them rookies (granted one is Jake Long).
 
Anyone have information on Riley? He might have a rapport with Henne and Long.
 
Was on Carolina's PS last year. Maybe some old friends giving Henning and Maser a tip?
