First of all i just want to say that i'm just throwing this out there...Its speculation on my part only...Your opinions are welcomed...

I was just reading that Chris Simms might be expandable in Tampa Bay, If he was to get released i wouldn't be surprised if Parcells wanted to bring him in for depth at the position...you never know what may happen. We all know Parcells is very close and has respect for his father Phil simms.
But let it be known....that i am hoping Beck comes back strong and answers all our questions...and proves he can be the started for us....i'm a beck supporter...and i want him to suceed...
but depth is always good especially for us....
and i just thought w/ the connection of phil and bill this could happen.

it's possible....we definately need a veteran.....and Simms isn't any worse than any of the other names that are out there.
 
I think Simms would offer some solid depth. He would even offer a likely candidate to compete for the starting spot. I mean he is only a year older than Beck, and showed in 2005 he can be average commanding the troops. However; I truly hope we can get someone else in here to start. I wouldn't really be that confident depending on either Simms or Beck.

And then what happens with Lemon? I really liked Cleo, guy makes plays at times. A potentially great backup or third stringer.

Come on man, why would Parcells bring in Simms Jr just because he has a good relationship with his father. What's he gonna do, trade for the family? Sheesh, who does that, honestly? :D

:err: What makes you think that? The only thing he showed was that he isn't willing to dive for the endzone when the game is on the line.

hmmm not far fetched id like him to be a dolphin a starter i dont now just yet would have to see him in pre season.

I wonder if Al Davis feels the same way about Long....?
 
Chris Simms is a lost cause IMO. Showed a lot of potential at times but it just seemed to disappear as quickly as it arrived.

Chris Simms is just another QB that plays for the Bucs...and is on the wrong team. Simms isn't a west coast type QB...and I believe he would be a far better QB in a different offensive scheme.

His spleen was more like the straw that broke the camels back. He was heading no where fast before that point.
