but it is reported on the Herald website this morning by Jason Cole that he has been signed??

The Dolphins signed cornerback Kiwaukee Thomas to the roster after he was released over the weekend by Jacksonville. Thomas is a special-teams ace who has started on occasion during his five-year career. Thomas was a fifth-round pick by Jacksonville in 2000 from Georgia Southern. Thomas is already listed as a front-line player on special teams.

Most pieces I have read listed him as a solid nickel back, who plays that physical/jamming the receiver style and best in zone coverage.
