The <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/15/nfl">Denver Broncos have announced the team has waived CB Lenny Walls (groin) from the Injured Reserve list, we probably won't get him

The guy is good.. shanahan and Denver just dont need him.. they got a couple of "steals" in the rookie corners they snagged from the draft.....

Who knows what teams will put in a claim. The Saints already got Joey Thomas so they might not try for Walls, and I don't think the Raiders will have higher priority than we do by virtue of strength of schedule. Green Bay, San Fran, Arizona, Jets, Ravens, Titans, and Texans would all be the front runners.

If he's destined for the Waiver Wire not likely we get him with 8 teams with worse records and 4 others at 4-7. Plus, how serious is his injury?

There arent going to be too many good free agent corners next year.. we gotta try and get them when we can....
if you think we should hold off and attempt at making clements the highest paid corner in the league , your out of your mind.... We need to get guys like this.. talented.. inexpensive..

Injured players can not be released until they fully recover from injuries sustained in games. If they are released early the team owes them an injury settelment. The broncos said they were to waive him a month ago, but they deffered until this week so he could recover and they wouldn't owe him a settlement. His injury is not considered severe. He was prized by them because he is the tallest corner in the league. With randy moss playing them twice a year they figured he could help them. BUT bailey has been lights out and their rookie corners have been coming along well prompting his release as he won't see the field....

He's a big corner.. Great in coverage skills and tackling.....
Hes still learning cuz hes still somewaht young but shown signs of brilliance..

he would instantly be a major upgrade..

I'm sure that Saban will put a claim on him, but I think that Niners will pick him up. He would be a good CB to have, since he is 6'4".

Broncos Waive Lenny Walls

It is official according to ESPN.COMI would love to see the Dolphins claim him. He is a solid CB and the only reason he is on the market is because 1 he asked to be cut, and 2 because the Broncos had Darrent Williams and Domonique Foxworth really stepping up.
