Merged: Let the fun begin.......RICKY SPEAKS

It looks to me like he is making a complete *** out of himself. Like Grizzly Adams on steroids and and acid.
Incoherent answers, vague statements, dodging questions. Sure is making me change my mind about him being an a**hole. :shakeno:

Being a wackadoo and being an ahole are two seperate things.. I think he is more on the wackadoo spectrum than the ahole spectrum.. That is not to say he doesnt do aholish things, but those things are more of a result of being a wackadoo, then being an intentional ahole.. I really dont think this guy sets out to INTENTIONALLY hurt people, he is just a total flake...

WAIT... he apologized?!? Does anyone know where I can get the transcript of the interview?? I am at work and cant be listening to it...

Yep. That was the first thing he addressed. I for one was glad to hear it.

Ricky is saying that Saban has been showing trust in him and that he is a big part of his comeback. He is there to work and work hard! I like!!!!

This is why i dont think he'll be traded this year, because if ricky gets sold out, he may just quit on the team he gets traded to and any transaction will get anulled. Nick may be strict, but I don't think he's a back-stabber.

He just said he was sorry for anyone he hurt last year

The show is over. DAMN!

I can't get enough of this guy! :rofl3:

I can't watch or listen to it right now. I am at work and for some reason I can't get the thing to work. But some of you guys need to lay off. It's ridiculous to expect him to be up there in front of all those people with total composure under the circumstances. Of course some of his answers are going to come off as bizarre or not well thought out or even sound dumb. I know I don't envy the position he is sitting in right now. It takes some balls to get up there and do what he is doing. Granted what he did last year is wrong, but he is trying to make it right and thinking of the perfect answer under the scrutiny he is facing at the moment, I'm sure he is doing the best he can. I wouldn't want to be sitting there and I'll bet you guys wouldn't either.

This is the first time I have actually heard him speak. Sounds like a teenager to me.

Anyway, Im curious to see what happens next.

I am more excited now at the prospect of a Ricky-Ronnie backfield. And the more I listen to Saban the more I think this guy is one smart cookie. He seems to always say the right things and deflect the negative things. He is like the "Teflon" Coach..

Good post.. Especially considering he has a documented social anxiety disorder.. Public speaking is a rather difficult endeaver to partake.. Polls show that more people are afraid of speaking publicly than DYING. Considering the situation, this must have been a very nerve-racking experience.
