good enough for me....on the field he needs to work hard...and he always did give 100%....

i just caught like the last 3 minutes and from what i heard from him he sounds like he's gonna do it right.

man that musta been hard for him....said he was at 213 right now weight wise and has 2 months to get up to playing weight.

go ricky!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like your SIG...people should read it and heed it.

Guys the man still has SAD, it must be really hard for him being up there today...

Good post.. Especially considering he has a documented social anxiety disorder.. Public speaking is a rather difficult endeaver to partake.. Polls show that more people are afraid of speaking publicly than DYING. Considering the situation, this must have been a very nerve-racking experience.

that is true...ive read that as well about public speaking.

oj mcduff and that other guy comented earlier about "we have to keep ricky" "he looks good" etc....man im pumped!!!

Oh please, enough of the excuses!

- He's only back to work
- Teammates seem happy to have him back
- Didn't feel nervous when coming back yesterday
- Didn't miss football as much as he missed being part of a team
- Didn't watch any games last season, only knew the Dolphins were struggling
- Saban was a big part in bringing him back and was very open about it
- Currently weighs 213, but will be in full shape in 2 months
- Isn't sure if he's ready for the intense media spotlight this year

...I guess we'll see how he does

he really sounds(in his own wierd way) like he wants to play football....i dont care if he hates the game, likes weed or feels he's bounding on white padded walls...the fact of the matter is he chose to don the jersey once again...and once he puts up the numbers and helps us win games he could do what he wants to do

He just has his own kind of world, you some people are thinking that he is dodging questions and all this stuff but the guy just leads a different type of life. He has a different view on life that other people and that is fine. If he has actually found peace inside I'm glad, because he is going to come out on fire when he plays.

I see that you really like the guy. Did he ruin your life?

No. But enough of the Ricky excuses and all of his problems. He's a big boy.

I agree, how about enough of the bashing too.... it does as much good as the excuses.

I think he did very well. He was never great at speaking in front of a camera anyway. He answered any questions that I had.
