You are right on that. But there are a few certain players I get attached to, and Sam Madison is definitely one of them.

I didn't even feel this way about Patrick Surtain, and he's from my home state. I always have loved Sam and I want to see him retire as a Dolphin.

Thats the problem, HE is our best DB! And HE isn't very good! We will improve our secondary by taking Sam's money and going out and adding it to our cap space and signing a couple more DB's!

Sam is mediocre at this point in his career. We need to aim higher than mediocre. Let's not settle for mediocre.

ya... but besides Madison... our corners are EXTREMELY young... especially if we draft another one. Think about it... Daniels, Poole, Mitchell, Eddie Jackson, and maybe a rookie... IF Madison takes a paycut... I would definatly be down to keep him to atleast have some veteran leadership and experience at the CB position.

However, if he doesnt take a paycut... I am all about cutting him...
