Is it safe to call him a bust now? WTF was Shanahan thinking? The guy didnt even make the team as a 3rd rounder. This guy was just an average talent, he never deserved the type of talk that he received, I dont care what kind of wonder year he had at Ohio a few years back he was slow and ofcourse his mental makeup wasnt there.
Hate to see the guy wind up in jail, I mean Id never wish that on anyone. Hope he can get his act together.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Maurice Clarett was wanted by police on Sunday after he was accused of using a gun to rob two people in an alley behind a bar.

The troubled former Ohio State running back fled when the bar owner or manager, who knew Clarett and the victims, came into the alley and identified him shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.
 
That's what happen when you sign a contract that gives you no money, and then they cut you. :lol:
 
And Shanahan tried to rationalize it that "hey, it was a compensatory pick we hadn't expected." Yeah, but you blew a first-day pick on a guy who wasn't even on most teams' boards and could have had any number of guys who would have helped your team this year.
 
Dude...what does Maurice Clarett have to do with the Miami Dolphins?

It's all good man. ;) We're trying to encourage use of the forums other than the Dolphins...

The Kitna thread I gave a while because it's of marginal interest to members who want to sign him, but it's moved here now. That's kind of a judgment call, but ultimately all thoise type threads end up here sooner or later.
 
What a moron he is. I thought for sure that he changed his way after the Broncos drafted him. I guess he will always be a punk and he will never have an NFL career.
 
He should be the poster boy of why you should stay in school and get your degree.
