MERGED:McMichael Doesn't Want Owens On Team\Players against TO

Same article also mentions we signed Teyo Johnson

i agree 100% t.o. is a great football player but it's all about him and football is a team sport and we have some unselfish guys on this team and that is what i love about them....

I don't want to get into another Owens debate, but McMike isn't the GM. I think he should keep his mouth shut, especially since he has not been a model citizen off the field.

TO can't help us if we don't have someone good to get the ball to him and Chambers efficiently. McMike needs to restrain himself though since the decision is up to Saban and Mueller not him. Plus, he's got his own issues to settle which are worse than TO's from a moral standpoint.

Mcmichael speaks for most of us Fin fans.

Let me suggest this: it may be no coincidence that several prominent Dolphins have said these things. It may be happening with Nick's blessing.

I dont want McMike on our team any more - cowards beat women - cowards dont win Super Bowls!

Let's be real here.
If your going to look for only role models to be on a team then you are going to be fielding a half empty very bad team.

Athletes are above the norm in aggression. There's a reason they excel in a competitive arena. With that level of testosterone and aggression comes some pretty negative side effects.

It's just a part of sports. Hate to break it to you.

"cowards beat women and cowards don't win super bowls"

I would bet that there's a long list of players that won super bowls with long rap sheets including abuse that would disprove that statement.

Good point and certainly a viable one.
If Saban didn't want this viewpoint expressed you'd think he'd have shut it down immediately after Chambers' comments.

I am sick of the word cancer on this board. Lets use Randy's word, virus. We need a new word I think.

Two things, First, nothing Randy has done off the field has affected the team.

Two, anymore wisecracks about wifebeating, may result in time off.

I am glad to see some of the leaders of this team standing up for what is obviously important to them.
I would be willing to go out on a limb here and say they (McMike and Chambers) have a much better perspective of what it would mean having particular players in the same locker room and on the field with them than any of us.
