MERGED:McMichael Pleads Guilty

i wish that woman hitting bish would get cut

I hope he is suspended. Maybe some lost paychecks will get through to this moron that he can't go around punching women!

He should be thankful for that sentence. He needs help.
One time could have been anger at that moment (I'm not justifying it BTW).
Twice is a pattern.

Gee, that's great, he goes thru our court system and gets his punishment, now everyone wants him to be punished by his employers too ?? I'm not condoning anything he did, but when is it enough ?? We have a legal system, he got tried, and was dealt a sentence...the rest is up to him...

He'll probably get suspened by the NFL for 2 games. After that, he'll file a grievance w/the Players Assoc and end up getting it reduced to 1 game.

What I read had nothing to do with him punching her... allegedly he threw a box out of his car and it ended up hitting her. She even backed up this version of the story.

McMichael pleads guilty to chargeSeptember 9, 2005

EVANS, Ga. (AP) -- Miami Dolphins tight end Randy McMichael pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three months probation on a charge related to a July argument during which police say he gave his wife a bloody nose. McMichael, 26, of Weston, Fla., entered the plea through his attorney to misdemeanor criminal trespass on Thursday, the Augusta Chronicle reported on its Web site Friday. He did not attend the hearing. McMichael originally was charged with three misdemeanor counts -- criminal trespass, public drunkenness and family violence battery -- after police said the former Georgia football player argued with his wife, Cawanna Anise McMichael, 22, in a parking lot in Grovetown, Ga., on July 9

My boo boo,,,,damn I thought I had a scoop. :(

I'm very curious as to why he pled guilty now, rather than getting the continuance and dealing with it after the season? He may face a 1-2 game suspension now. Though I guess since he's a free agent, it's better for him to miss games this year than at the start of next. Hope he's not suspended though. He's my fantasy starter!

Hopefully we will keep him. Wwell at least by pleading guilty it lets us know that he realizes what he did was wrong and that he leraned his lesson hopefully.

Randy is my Fantasy TE starter too....my backup is Courtney Anderson of the Raiders who caught 2 TD's last night....go figure?!!!! I benched Anderson and he could have gotten at least 14 points for me. McMike better have a big
